StaffWe are a family run business with a commitment to employing friendly & knowledgeable staff, some of whom have been with us for more years than they care to remember. Brian Whitley, CI Manager Brian is a certified CEDIA Designer. Trained in CAD, Crestron, Lutron, Systemline and many other systems his wiring diagrams and cable schedules are a work of art. When programming Lutron lighting systems he is often to be found working into the small hours as darkness is a prerequisite for lighting design. A keen archer and woodworker Brian is a qualified electronic engineer and has worked with us for over 30 years. Ian Purkiss, Installer Ian began working with us in the sixties. He quite possibly has installed more Multi-Room, AV and Hi-Fi systems than he has had hot dinners - as such his product knowledge is close to encyclopedic! Ian Sharp, CI Installer Ian is seen here with the wiring that went into the rack seen on the Chew & Osborne Ltd :: Custom Installation & Home Automation page. Ian is a Cedia trained installer and has worked on many of our higher profile installations including some foreign excursions (apparently he was working the whole time!) Matthew Sherwin, Epping Matthew is a music lover with seemingly incompatiable tastes in genres ranging from Jazz to Ambient to Death Metal with several stops inbetween. Although of slightly scary appearance (flesh tunnels, mad scientist beard and ponytail) he loves to spend time in the dem room with a cup of coffee helping customers choose their ideal Hi-fi. He also efficiently organises our out work. Dominic Price, Epping Dominic is our newest member of staff and is a bit of a movie buff with a taste for modern action movies. He also loves gigs and festivals and loves skydiving. Angela Meikle, Saffron Walden Angela has worked with us for many years and currently runs our CD department. She has extensive knowledge of several music genres and is always happy to help with any music queries. Ollie Thompson, Saffron Walden Ollie is a movie buff with "cheekie chappie" written all over him. He is currently writing his own entry where he will no doubt claim to be good looking and witty (only one of which is true). He will no doubt fail to provide a photo. Michael Boatman, Saffron Walden Michael is a music and movie lover and can often be found helping our installation team. Peter Smith, Service Peter has worked with us for many years in our sevice department. He is now part time but still enjoys using a soldering iron to sort out malfunctioning electronica. In his spare time he enjoys real ale and cycling (not at the same time!)
